I have become a bit of an foreign exchange specialist completely by accident.

Over 10 years ago I moved to Australia, sold my website design company and setup movingtoaustralia.co.nz. Since then I’ve been helping New Zealanders moving to Australia with all the information they need to know.

Through this I discovered that one of the best ways I was helping visitors was educating them on money transfers. Like I, most people don’t think about it and just use their banks.

Over the years I have received many thank you emails from people who sold up their homes and cars in New Zealand and saved thousands by using an online currency exchange company to transfer that money to Australia. I have never received a complaint about either company. Hence the creation of this site, educating people about foreign exchange.

I personally have used and recommended OFX for over 8 years and XE over 4 years.
